The Corrigan Gaetani Family ~ A Dulce Delicious History

Corrigan Gaetani is a genuine Family business established in 1998 by Tommy Corrigan from Ireland and Karina Gaetani from Argentina.

We moved to County Offaly from Argentina after we got married in May of 1996. Our first two years were spent on developing a wonderful dairy product new to Ireland called Dulce de Leche, traditionally made in Argentina since the 19th century.

Our journey began on the 5th of August of 1998 with the first ever production of Dulce de Leche in Ireland sold under the brand of Ballyshiel Milk Toffee spread. Dulce de Leche, which means sweetness of milk, is a family tradition with its roots in Argentina.

Through the generations, we have learned to use our senses as the main instruments to monitor the transformation of an ever-changing milk into a delicious artisan Toffee Dulce de Leche.

“We profoundly believe that it is our children who inspire us most of all”

We produce a deliciously tempting range of toffee dulce de leche, chocolate spreads, exquisite dessert sauces, and handmade chocolates all inspired by the passion to create new exciting delicious products with the best of natural ingredients. We profoundly believe that it is our children who inspire us most of all.
